A fanlistings is like an online clique, in a way. It brings together fans of a certain subject, in this case, fans of Epcot.

About Epcot

Epcot was the second park opened in Walt Disney World, opening its doors in 1982. It was originally EPCOT, which stood for "Experimental Prototype Community Of Tomorrow." Eventually, it became known simply as Epcot. Epcot consists of two worlds: Future World and World Showcase. Future World has changed greatly over the years in order to accommodate the latest technology. Currently, it consists of such attractions and pavilions as Spaceship Earth, The Living Seas, and The Wonders of Life Pavilion.
World Showcase displays many different countries, each with a nice large area to show off their countries cultures. Some of the many countries shown there are Mexico, Japan, and Germany.

About Illuminated Community and Its Owner

Illuminated Community was started by me, Rachel, a.k.a. Mystic Blossom. I have been to Walt Disney World a number of times, and Epcot has always been my favorite park. I chose the name "Illuminated Community" because that's exactly what it is: a community of people from different ages and different cultures in a place that's positively lit up. This layout version is called "The Big Golf Ball." Yes, I know that the attraction featured on this layout is called "Spaceship Earth," but there's a story behind the name. One night, my boyfriend and I were planning a mock trip to Disney World, and he commented that "we have to go see the big golf ball." So yeah, homage! :D
Anyway, this is my first fanlisting, and I'm hoping it will be a successful one.
